The Government of the Russian Federation has given Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation 440,722,000 shares of Atomenergoprom JSC, a state-owned integrated holding consolidating the civil assets of Russia’s nuclear industry, at their nominal value.

In Mar 2009 President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev decreed to give Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation the shares of Atomenergoprom JSC as the property contribution of the Russian Federation. The shares of Atomenergoprom were transferred into the ownership of the Russian Federation as a result of the reorganization of Russia’s nuclear industry after the registration of the reports on the results of the issues of the company’s additional shares.
