Nuclear.Ru: NCCP produced 702 tons of uranium dioxide powder
The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrate Plant (NCCP) met the target set for production of fuel assemblies for Russian and foreign consumers.
The company informed the target had been met ahead of schedule, i.e. three days before the end of 2011. “This was facilitated by a number of factors,” the company’s statement says.
In particular, in 2011 the plant produced a record amount of dioxide uranium powder using the traditional, aqueous technology (430 tons).
