A construction licence has been issued for the second unit at phase two of the Leningrad nuclear power plant (Leningrad II) by Russian nuclear regulator Rostekhnadzor.

JSC Mashinostroitelny zavod improves fuel for Paks NPP
JSC Mashinostroitelny zavod - daughter company of JSC ÒVEL - produced the first set of 12 fuel casettes and 6 ÒVS ÀRK of the second generation fuel with gadolinium for the Hungarian Paks NPP.

Amendment to HEU-LEU contract approved by Russian Government
On 11 July 2009 the Government of the Russian Federation approved by its Order No. 912-r the Amendment No. 019 dated 13 February 2009 to the contract between JSC "Techsnabexport" and the United States Enrichment Corporation for supply to the USA of low-enriched uranium concluded under HEU-LEU Agreement between Russian Government and U.S. Government.

The Sales Volume of JSC TVEL Reached 51.96 Billion Rubles
In 2008, JSC TVEL sold production in the amount of 51.96 billion Rubles (in 2007 this amount reached 37.29 billion rubles). The company net profit was 29.93 billion Rubles (in 2007 it was 5.83 billion Rubles), the net profit was 65.25 billion Rubles (34.88 billion Rubles in 2007).
