Japan Atomic Industrial Forum Delegation Visit Atomenergoprom’s Facilities
A delegation of Japan Atomic Industrial Forum (JAIF) that consolidates the Japanese industrial community contributing to the peaceful use of atomic energy visited Atomenergoprom’s industrial facilities (JSC Machine Building Plant (MBP), and JSC Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Combine (AECC)) on September 16-21.

On September 22, 2009 another shipment of low enriched uranium set sails to the USA within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and Government of the United States of America concerning the disposition of high enriched uranium extracted from nuclear weapons dated February 18, 1993.

Centrifuges for China – Supplies Continued
JSC Engineering Center Russian Gas Centrifuge delivered the next (third) lot of gas centrifuges under the contract concluded in August 2008 between JSC Techsnabexport, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSC Atomenergoprom, and China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation concerning technical assistance in the construction of the fourth stage of gas centrifuge plant in the People’s Republic of China.

Japanese Delegation Visits Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Complex
On September 11-13 a Japanese delegation comprising representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Toshiba Corporation and TEPCO electrical utility company made a working visit to the Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Complex, a 100% Atomenergoprom subsidiary.

Atomstroyexport JSC signed the agreement for preparation of the justification of investment in construction of the first Belarusian NPP
The agreement for elaboration of the justification of investment (JI) in NPP construction in the Republic of Belarus has been signed in Minsk between Atomstroyexport JSC (ASE JSC) and Design Scientific Research Republican Unitary Enterprise Belnipienergoprom (RUE Belnipienergoprom).

State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom is planning to conduct a large loan over its affiliate JSC Atomenergoprom (the company unites civil nuclear enterprises).
