Russia plans to catch up with the backlog in high-temperature conductor production
The Russian Superconductor (managed by Science and Innovations company) and the German firm Bruker HTS on ROSATOM’s premises signed an agreement concerning the purchase of a technology for manufacture of high-temperature band-type superconductors of the second generation (HTBS-2).

The Fuel Company of ROSATOM TVEL was granted a license for supply of test fuel assemblies TVS-K for reactors of western designs
The Fuel Company of ROSATOM TVEL signed an agreement with Vattenfall Nuclear Fuel ÀÂ (Sweden) for supply of test fuel assemblies TVS-K for Ringhals-3.

New production facility in Industrial Park Tochmash broadens prospects of application of LED lamps
On the 21st of February in Vladimir a MCLR Ltd. plant was inaugurated. This is Russia’s first producer of boards for electronic devices, primarily, for light-emitting-diode lamps which require fast heat removal. It is also the largest resident of the Industrial Park of VPA Tochmash.

ROSATOM’s enterprises held a seminar for Czech companies on joining the global contractors’ chain
On the 16th of February 2012 in Pilsen a seminar was held where the process and terms of supply of products for construction completion of Temelin NPP Units 3 and 4, as well as for other Russian nuclear construction projects being implemented worldwide, were explained to the largest Czech machine engineering companies.

Russian Joint Venture of ROSATOM and Alstom Will Supply the Turbine Island to the Baltic Nuclear Power Plant
Russian-French Joint Venture "Alstom-Atomenergomash" (AAEM) signed a contract on supply of turbine island equipment for units 1 and 2 of Baltic Nuclear Power Plant in the Kaliningrad region, which are to be commissioned in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
